THE TV IS GREAT----PICTUE IS NICE AND CLEAR---THE ONLY NEGATIVE THING IS THAT COBY MAKES AN EXCLUSIVE REMOTE FOR THE TV SO THAT THE SET CANT BE COMPLETELY CONTROLLED WITH THE CABLE TV COMPANY REMOTE THAT OPERATES CONVERTER BOX---YOU NEED BOTH REMOTES TO TURN THE SET ON TO CABLE, CHANGE CHANNELS WITH THE CABLE COMPANY REMOTE, BUT VOLUME IS CONTROLLED BY THE COBY EXCLUSIVE REMOTE CONTROL

Coby Disappointment
Ordered the TV-DVD player for my Grandson to play his leapfrog computer, games and dvd's on. The first one displayed a large pink purple splash across the screen that could not be removed. Amazon quickly enough sent another but this one would not even turn on. Having 2 bad tv's in a row caused Amazon's return and refund system to breakdown and now more than a month later I still await resolution. Needless to say I am wary of Coby and disappointed in Amazon.

Could not program cable channels into Coby TVDVD2090
The DVD viewing was fine, but I had to return it to Amazon because 3 of us, with the support of Coby Customer Service, were unable to program the TV channels that we had been receiving with the old TV. Maybe it was just a lemon, but I chose not to take a chance on a replacement. Maybe I should have given the set a 3-star, not a 1-star....

Good News/ Bad News and More Bad News!
Bought this set because it is a heavy CRT and has a DVD for our two active grandchildren. That's the good news. Now the bad news. Set arrives in timely manner but DVD willnot play in color. Sent back and literally the same day second set arrives. Now the more bad news.The second set has pink/purple splotches thoughout the picture on all three modes.and the picture is not clear and we have Comcast My advice: stay away from this set. With few CRT TVs left I guess we will have to find a used one ...

Works Great, My Daughter loves it!
I got this TV/DVD combo for my 7 year old daughter to put in her bedroom. I chose this set because of the built-in DVD player and the price was right. My daughter has used it everyday for the past 2 months without any problems. The picture is clear, the colors are sharp and the sound is great. It also has a large screen that she loves...great TV/DVD combo at a great price!

Nice TV
I purchased this TV mainly because of the built-in DVD player and so far is working great. I can also hook up other DVD players to it so I feel that it was a great deal.

tv plus dvd
I have had my Coby for about 5 months and it is a wonderful playing appliance. The picture is precise with bright color, the dvd's play well and the sound is clear! The only complaint is that the directions for the setup for the tv has directions that are not easy to understand.
