Good value for money
Used it a few time on the shootingrange. In good light conditions the scope gives a very clear picture. In artificial light or in the shimmering, the picture becomes less clear. The tripod with the scope is of a poor quality. I replaced it with a new tripod from my local gun store.

Great Buy!
I recieved this scope about two days ago and I have been having a lot of fun with it. I live out in the country side where there are a lot of things to look at and this scope has allowed me to look at the Lords creations more closely and clearly! The tripod can get just a little unstable when viewing, but it's not a big deal. You also need a good amount of light to see things clearly at 60x, but the same applies with any scope you get. Low quality
I bought this scope to use it at a shooting range. After I tried it I realized that it is completely useless at ranges more than 100 yards. It has very small view field, it is very difficult to focus. At 200 yards at 40-60 magnification I was not able to focus it and see bullet holes in my targets.

mclark spotting scope review
So far I am happy with this scope. My only disappointment is that I cannot use 60 power for birds that are only about 50 feet away. The highest power I seem to be able to get into focus is approximately 30 power. Otherwise the view is crystal clear and the scope is very easy to use.

works fine as advertised. nice optics for the money. good case, lousy zipper,rubbed a candle on it for 'lube' works fine now. tripod is worthless!! invest in a good one this scope is worth it.

spotting scope delivers- inexpensively!
If you need a low cos, high power scope this is the answer. It arrived with stitching coming apart in the carrying case and the company was easy to reach and replaced it immediately. Not a NIKON, for sure, but a good value and does the job.

Laser Failure
The scope itself has performed as advertised. However, the laser failed almost immediately. Replaced batteries and can only get intermittent light.
Note: after writing the above review, I returned the laser and the company promptly replaced it. Therefore, an amended review would be 4 stars.
