Packs Some Surprises
Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: 1 month to 1 year Pros: For a relatively scant 50 watts this thing proves power isn't everything. It may not set off the car alarms, but it certainly add the kind of bass that really enhances surround sound without being too in-your-face. Great sound quality that blends well with Polk speakers' Dynamic Balance.
Cons: I've never really seen what it can do, but it did seem fall behind from m...

LFE hooks-up thru RCA jacks
This is a great addition to my Polk floor speakers and center speaker. I was told this had the LFE jack after calling Polk they said the hook-up is thru the RCA jacks- using an RCA splitter Y-connection for best results and getting the adjustments HZ is essential in the fullest listening experience. Awesome speakers.

Great Sub at a Great Price
I replaced a 10 Pioneer with the Polk sounded good in the store. When I got it home it ROCKS had to turn it down due to it caused some of my lamps to rattle in the room. I use it for movie soundtracks and music from Rock to Bach.

No LFE Input
I purchased the PSW10 to complement my new HarmanKardon AVR335 AV receiver. The simplest hookup for this receiver is the LFE and I assumed that the Polk had that type of input from reading the product details. It does not. The manual that came withhePolk adds to the confusion because it shows the LFE connector. Actually the manual covers both the 10 and the 12 version and only the 12 has LFE. Im sure that this is a fine speaker but I took mine back and ended up buying the more expensive Ini...

Great Sub!
I bought this to complete the suround sound in my room it was well worth the investment. It has a ton of bass. Excellent quality sound. Hint = if hooking up to a reciever turn the volume all the way up on the back of the sub and turn it down on the reciver. This will provide the best range of bass at any volume level. I would not buy any other sub. Also the auto onoff feature is great easy setup.

great sub with good sound!!!
Ive had this subwoofer for about four months now and there are some ups and downs. Im only 15 so i couldnt afford a Velodyne or a Boston Acoustics sub but for the price this is a great sub. At a reasonable volume it has great sound with low distortion port noise or boomyness. It does great at producing low frequency bass. The only thing it has trouble with is producing really hard hitting bass at a higher volume it seems to be more boomy and has more port noise when it tries to put out that h...

Great sound
I recently purchase the PSW10 to complete my Polk AudioHarmon Kardon 5.1 system. Prior to purchasing this sub I didnt feel as though my system was lacking a subwoofer but now that I have added this to complete the system Im not sure how I lived withoutit. The sound is very solid and no boomy. One tip... turn the volume to max on the woofer and control the output with your reciever this provided the best sound out of all the configurations I tried. My only complaint so far - the auto on switch. I...

Excellent Sound, Good Looks
This speaker added a lot to my musicmovie experience. It is very attractive. It will shake the walls as much as you want. Only downside is the owners manual is very skimmy on information about adjusting the back side switches. I had to go online toget a detailed description. But overall this is an excellent subwoofer.

Can't beat it for the price
I bought this subwoofer to help clean up the muddy bass in my Polk Monitor 50 speakers and i am completely happy with the results. This subwoofer has clean thumping bass to it and freed my Monitors to shine in the mid and high range which is their strengths anyway-another superior product from Polk!!!
