As I have found with McAfee, there are always problems. This time it is "verify your subscription" message at least once a day. I have contacted McAfee via online chat 3 times and although they have tried, they have failed. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the McAfee 3 times and now given up. I will get PCcillin from now on. Have it on my other machines and it is transparent.

Works, easy to use.

Ownership: more than 1 year
Pros: This software is easy to use, automatic updates and scans ect. The v-scan is effective it has saved my comp from many kinds of adware/malware trojans in the past (in a sense of removing them after there were already in effect).
Cons: As I mentioned the only real use of mcAfee is scanning and removing viruses, the firewall is useless if it even exists. It says it'...

Pros: None.
Cons: Extremely resource intensive. Contains tons of useless features that you will never use and cannot be shut off.
Other Thoughts: If it comes with a Dell/HP, it means it's garbage. Even AVG or Avira FREE anti-virus' are better than this piece of garbage.

Pros: Ive had this now for about 6 months it works great for me and the price in phnominal. im thinking of buying it again.I mean come on now 3 users for $14.99?
