Just a waste of resources
Tech Level: high
Ownership: more than 1 year
Pros: It's free.
Cons: This is inferior to every normally free virus scanner I have ever tried -- in which you do not have to pay $50 and wait for the rebate.
The only thing I've seen McAfee detect as a virus since 1995 has been Hijack this, which is a legitimate virus removal tool.
This is just a waste of money. Try Avast! Home edition, it's much better.

The pop up warning boxes are the worst!
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I am so sorry I bought this piece of junk security software.
