Well, it worked for a while
I was quite pleased with this at first; we actually got the TV and the DVD player to work together; never quite managed to add on the sound system, but you can't have everything, and I do tend to put off jobs like that.
The ergonomics are a weird, but managable. (Why they can't have big pause / forward / backaward buttons is beyond me)

I have a universal remote that came with my Marantz receiver from several years ago that I liked. However, it is a learning remote only.
