Good Remote
I bought this for my elderly mother. The big butttons are easy to push. It works great. I did have a little trouble programming this remote. You're instructed to push the 'Set' button and the 'Power' button at the same time to begin programming the remote. It didn't work the first few times I tried. Turns out I wasn't pushing hard enough on the 'Set' button. I used a small screwdriver to hold down the set button while I pushed the power button. Everything went smoothly after that.

It simply doesn't work!
Well, I'm certainly disappointed. I bought this for my mom, who has advanced Parkinson's and can't control her hands easily. When we received it, my brother tried to set it up for her. Now, my brother is a mechanical engineer who also works with computers (and with four kids, he has a lot of experience following obscure electronics directions as well!). After a number of wasted hours, he was unable to program the item or make it work. He tried it on three different televisions by three different...

Great Remote For The Remote Control Challenged!
This is one of the greatest remotes in the world for the remote control challenged! It's also great for the elderly, or for anyone who is tired of remotes with little buttons. The buttons on this are BIG! And about the only thing your remote control challenged relative or friend could do to make it not work, is to push the CBL button, when they have no cable box. It's strictly for TV or a cable box, which is all a lot of people actually use.

I can't get it to work.
I bought this remote for my Panasonic TV. However, after much trying, I cannot get it to work. I have tried everything and read and followed the instructions many times. It refuses to work.

Great for seniors
I bought this item for my elderly aunt. She couldn't understand the buttons on the remote which comes with the TV and VCR. This remote is simple to use, and for a senior citizen, the buttons are large enough not to cause problems.

Sony RM-EZ2 TV and Cable Remote Control
This is a great remote control for older people. The buttons are oversized and easy to see and press. Just the basic frequently used features are present. The less used and confusing buttons found on most remote controls have been eliminated from this unit. No more accidental pressing of one of these "odd" buttons and then not knowing to undo it. The RM-EZ2 can be configured to work with the majority of today's TV brands.

Great Remote for the Motor Impaired
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I got two of these for relatives that were having problems operating complicated remotes with tiny buttons. The BIG easy-to-push buttons on this remote are just what was needed!
This unit is very easy to program and use, but a pointed object (such as a small screwdriver) might be helpful to depress the "set" button for initial programming.

Excellant Low Cost Basic Remote
Excellant choice if you want something very simple and are not worried about controlling other components. Excellant replacement for a lost remote. Nice and Big so you won't lose it again! You can't go wrong!

No bells, no whistles - exactly what I want
I've had two RM-EZ2 for over a year now (on different TVs) ... very satisfactory indeed.
pro: -very smooth action, easy to press buttons, fine for big clumsy fingers and poor eyesight -always works without fussy pointing -good battery life
con: -eventually one will accidentally depress the wrong CBL or TV button and wonder why the remote no longer works ... the cure is simple, just depress the correct button, but if you forget that they are there, y...
