Awsome!
It seems that everybody does painstaking research before making such a big decision.
I finally pulled the trigger after debating between Samsung HL-S6187W 61",DLP vs PLASMA and the Mitsu. Absolutely love it and glad I chose the larger Mitsu. Great features and awesome picture. Did not appreciate the HD picture till I got my Dish HD receiver. Also glad I chose DLP over Plasma. My large living room has lots of natural light and glare. All I can say is WOW. Last note, it seems the price fluct...

Update: My 2nd Mitsubishi Big Screen. Excellent Product. Very Satisfied
(read my update below)
I've had a 70" mitsubishi for about 7 or 8 years (excellent picture, better than any projection tvs out there, better than tubes when watching from about 6-7 feet away). With power outages and spikes (we were not using a good quality surge protector, my mistake), we've had several repairs and decided to get another one.
We were looking at Sony 60" XBR 2, with very brilliant picture and Mitsubishi 65". On Sony, you can look at the picture from the ...

Questioms answered
When I told my friends I had ordered a television set through Amazon, their first question was what happens if you have a problem. I told them I did not think it would be a problem but did not know. Well, I did immediately have a problem with a small light spot on the screen. I called Amazon and was told to contact Misubishi since it was under manufacturer warranty. I did. They took the information about the TV set - serial number etc. I was asked to wait few minutes and when the lady came ...

Awesome Hi-Def DLP
I'm very pleased with the Mitusbishi 65" DLP TV. It was easy to install, and the internal software makes the connection process simple. A week after I had the TV up and running (on regular cable & DVD), I added a hi-def DVR box and was blown away with the picture. TV does run hot, and needs to be placed in a well vented (cool) room. I've yet to see a better picture than this Mitsu!!

beautiful HDTV
paid 3k and feel its worth the price. have only had for 2 weeks, but the 720p and 1080i signal I receive at times via outdoor antenna looks absolutely awesome. no flaws to mention. it has a built in formating function that allows you to fit the picture you receive to the screen size. very adjustable with the settings(kelvin, 6 colors, etc...)
also has numerous connections making install a snap(weighs 100lbs)
very happy with this set for hdtv

Great TV for the price
First of all, you won't find a much better TV for the price that has the features this TV has. Out of the box it looked great. I had previously owned a 62" Toshiba DLP and a 60" Sony LCD TV, both of which I returned because I was not satisfied. Despite what others may say, this TV does better than the two TV's I just listed in relation to how regular TV looks. At 65" it does a great job of taking standard television and making it look good. The Toshiba did an okay job, which I attribute to ...

Amazing picture at a great price
I have had a Toshiba 65" HDTV for the last 5+ years (with no problems) and upgraded to the Mitsubishi for DLP and HDMI inputs.
I must say that this picture blows away the Toshiba (granted the technology is light years ahead of the old first-gen HDTV); 1080i from Dish HD looks crystal clear, 1080p from my Blu-Ray player is simply amazing and upscaled SD-DVDs look equally amazing.
With all of that said the most amazing thing about the TV is how light it is; I was able to...

Awsome picture
Great Price fast delivery Amazon is the best thing since low carb bread and This TV rocks. ordered it and wallahh it was at my door in 3 days. At first I thought the screen was a tad to big but guess what ITS NOT. The HD looks amazing. I looked for about 3 months for a DLP TV set. It came down to this one or the 61 inch Samsung. I am so Glad I got this one.
I Think the only down side is the Fan noise at low sound level. Other than that You get used to it I guess.
People say that y...

Absolutely Amazing ...
I have been waiting to buy an HDTV because frankly, they've never impressed me. I've been to countless friend's houses where they have one and have HD channels and I didn't see much of a difference. This TV, however, is a different story. When I saw it in a local store, playing HD content, all I could do was stand there with my jaw on the floor saying, Oh my god, over and over. The picture is incredible, I've never seen anything like it. It has a depth to it that's almost 3D, you have to se...

great TV
I purchased this TV and as most have said it's a great deal and a fine picture. i only have one concern. I went and check the availablity of purchasing a bulb for this unit and can't get any reply from Mitsubishi as to why it's not even available on thier website, it's as if the model doesn't exist. As you know the only real concerns about buying DLP is changing out the bulb eventually. Still looking for an answer out of the manufacturer.
