Excellent projector
I will be entering the presentation circuit soon, so I decided to pick up a projector. After some research, I found that a projector with the same native resolution as your laptop will produce the best picture quality, so I narrowed my search to projectors with 1280x800 resolution, the same as my Macbook. Works good so far.
Tech Level: average

Pros: Works good so far, clean sharp image. Auto resizes to fit different aspect ratios nicely.
Cons: none so far.

Finally, almost true color!
After researching quite a few projectors, I finally settled on this one since it seemed to have good specs, capability to do wide-screen, Mac compatibility and more. I received it today, and ran through some old Powerpoint & Keynote presentations with lots of photos, and at last, the images are almost exactly what's on the computer's screen! Pros: Bright, natural size (1280x800) works perfectly with our travelling demo laptop screen size. Linux with nVidia drivers autodetected it without a reboot. Fits inside of a Pelican 1510 case perfectly, with room left for the laptop and other gear. Good zoom, quick focus and input selections.
Cons: None.

Great - but watch for the adaptors!!

Pros: good picture, VERY bright, inexpensive. Aspect ratio is PERFECT for a multifunction system - very little top-bottom black for 16x9, relatively small side bars for 4x3, and awesome for PC gaming -- since screen lag kills gaming, you always want to render at a projector's native resolution or a non-scaled derivative, and 1280x800, 1280x768, and 1280x720 all count for a wxga, so you have lots of non-lagged opti...
