Great Printer, easy setup, great print quality
I purchased this printer at Costco and I am very pleased with it so far. Wireless setup was simple and worked perfectly for all three of my PCs on my wireless network running XP and Vista. The print quality is excellent as is the speed. Double sided printing is also very nice to have. I could not be more pleased so far.

I recently bought this printer but I bought it off the HP site because it was cheaper. I truly like the way my printed copies look---very professional and the ink does not smear. Incredible features and performance
I have had the OfficeJet 6500 Wireless for a few weeks and am genuinely impressed. The print quality is as good as it's going to get for an inkjet, and is very sharp. Individual ink tanks for each color keeps waste and cost down, and kudos to HP for selling both standard and large capacity ink tanks, allowing heavy users another way to keep costs down. Excellent print quality, but clunky sounding and HUGE drivers
Yes, the print quality is beautiful, but I'm not as overjoyed as the previous reviewers.
The printer driver alone is 245 MB. That's almost as big as my entire MS Office suite! WHY??? With few of its optional programs included (an additional 100 MB or so), it took a good 20 minutes to copy and install the software from the disk onto my desktop computer and complete the initial setup.

Great AIO
I am using this printer(AIO) for more than a month and I am very pleased with its performance.It is very fast and color printouts are very impressive.It is Wi-Fi enabled so I don't need to stick around it and can roam anywhere within my house and give print, scan commands and send fax.I have connected it to my Wi Fi router, It can also be connected directly to laptop using wi fi but this method is not secure.

When this printer was just out of the box I printed a few pages and got a low ink warning--I was nearly out of black ink. I could not believe it and thought maybe the cartridge that came with the printer was a sample. I bought a 920xl replacement cartridge, which is supposed to be good for about 1,200 pages. Not perfect
I've had this printer (HP OfficeJet 6500 Wireless) about a week. I spent the better part of an afternoon getting it set up.
The software installation includes a great deal of extra software ("Shop HP, Document Manager, etc") that I manually uninstalled after everything was set up. There were no options to pick and choose which unwanted extras to avoid. As a software product manager I find this unacceptable.
