Great Printer for Home or Small Office
This is a great printer for home or small office. I like everything about it except when a piece of paper gets stuck. Taking everything apart to set things right is more difficult than it needs to be. All things considered, I would get this printer again.

super economical printer
A real workhorse. Best part is that you can find a toner replacement that does 4000 sheets for $22. It is an off brand but works well with the printer.

LaserJet 1300 - 5 star workhorse
I've had a LaserJet 1300 for about 5 years. All it does is work and work and work. It's the go-to printer for this family of five with 4 desktops, 2 laptops and a home office. I bought a little NetGear PS101 print server that plugs into the 1300's parallel port and voila! it's a shared network printer with its own IP address. The 13X high-capacity cartridge lasts us about a year, so no complaints there! Obviously it's not a photo printer, but 99% of the time all we need is B/W printing. It ...

Buyer Beware
I provide desktop support for a medium sized company. Accounting bought several of these Cheap Pieces of XXXX. Make sure to follow the directions multiple times exactly as the instructions say. Because if you skip a step or plug in the printer at the wrong time HP printers run the risk of damaging the print spooler and possibly force you to reload your operating system.
If you switch computers between cubicles and have 2 of these printers you have to move the printers also, because...
