Comparing HP D7560 with Epson R280
After using the HP 7550 for a number of years I received well spirited bad advice and switched to an Epson R280 because of compatibility with an IMAC OS 10.5. I discovered inaccurate color rendition, ink that required 24 hours to dry and was dissatisfied with its skimpy plastic construction. The first printer arrived with a broken paper easel. The second had the same poor color symptoms with Photoshop or the Leopard photo programs. The HP D7560, solidly built, knocked out my letter si...

Awesome Printer!!
I love printing photos - but only if they are of excellent quality. This printer makes me smile every time I see the results it gives. I started off using HP Premium Plus photo paper, but have discovered that the paper recommended here (Advanced Paper) works just as well as the premium plus, is much cheaper, uses less ink, etc. I've had the printer for about 6 weeks now, and cannot count the 8x10's, 5x7's and 4x6's I have printed, all with excellent results. Just two days ago, I replaced the...

Fantastic Printer !!
I've been using an 8 year old HP Deskjet 830C and decided I needed something better especially for photos. Wow, did I find it in this D7560 Photosmart. I ordered on Friday, received on Monday and after about an hour of setup time I am up and running. The test photo of my subject was unbelievably good. The subjects look like they could walk out of the photo. You do need to provide your own USB cord for connection but everything else is included in the box. I am really impressed with this pr...

What a disappointment - and WASTE!
I did a lot of research trying to find a cost effective printer to use for photo printing. I had a HP 5740 that was doing a decent job, but wanted to get a printer to use for my "good" shots. I chose this printer.
What a mistake. It worked fine at first, but then shortly, started giving me fits. It will print about 2/3 of a photo on a sheet and then kick it out. From that point on, it takes about 6-8 attempts to finish, putting about a quarter of an inch on a page. I have wasted...

Full featured printer with software bugs for free!!!
Update: Avoid this printer. The included HP software is absolutely worthless. Software for printing to CDs has a terrible and unpredictable user interface. It's so bad as to be practically unusable. Can't print in color, can't save your work, can't print two CDs with the same label. You have to redo all of the work again if you want to print 2 CDs.
We purchased this printer because it could print labels directly to printable CD and DVD disks. Printing from the HP software works if you...

Disappointed
After four days of attempting to print twelve copies of a six-page document with text and photos using Quark XPress, I gave up and went back to my old HP psc2175v.
My new 7560 displayed "Low Ink" messages constantly; stalled in the middle of pages and required restarting; displayed the message: "The process 'USB' stopped unexpectedly with status 233," and required restarting; and continued to say it was printing after it had completed a job, requiring restarting. I resorted to attempt...

Don't Do It!
This printer is the biggest piece of electronic garbage I've ever purchased. It gobbles up ink, it is very user UN-friendly, it's set up operation every time it is turned on takes an incredible amount of time, and I continually get pop-ups trying to sell me more HP stuff. I've had this printer for a few months, and I'm GIVING it away....complete with a complete set of new ink cartridges. It has NEVER printed a decent print since I've had it. I contacted HP and was completely ignored. Don 't...

What a disappointment!!
After much time spent with HP tech support and even paying a local technician to help this printer still won't print from most software. Really wish I'd listened to other reviews!! If you want a big waste of time & money then buy this printer.

Bloatware Software Does Not Install
This is the worst printer software ever! I have spent hours on the phone with tech support in India and finally an American. Have been trying to install the bloatware software for over 30 hours. Keeps coming up with this error (MSI.dot4wrp01) and they have NO answer for it. Computer now crashes all the time and system restore does not work. I have to use Safe mode to restore. Dozens of emails with tech support, try this - try that, NO THAT DOES NOT WORK - WE ALREADY TRIED THAT 10 EMAILS AG...

Excellent printer for avid scrapbookers
I am an avid scrapbooker and I purchased this printer last week. It is truely awesome. For the price, it can't be beat! Set up was fast and easy. I was printing pictures immediately. I used HP Advanced photo paper and the pictures were crisp and clear. Now I can print my own enlargements and enhanced images without making a trip to the nearest photo kiosk. I highly recommend this printer.
