Pros: Not bad looking. Excellent setup animation to guide new users. Like most of the current generation of laser printers, prints very, very well fresh out of the box. A significant pro is the ability to do automatic duplex (double-sided) printing, which saves paper costs and delivers more professional-appearing documents which occupy less storage space.

Cons: This printer has issues. I got 7 of these for a few of my branch offices at work. HP was saying this was a replacement for the discontinued 1320. What they don't tell you is it does not have PCL5 or PCL5e font support. So if you try to print from a system that does not support PCL6 (IBM i-Series) you are going to have major problem...

Pros: Once installed properly, it works like a charm: a total speed demon; duplexing is a great paper saver; absolutely silent while in sleep mode.

Pros: Duplex and network connection are some of the best features. Small and CHEAP RAM upgrade from transend (NewEgg lists Transend products) <$60 for 256mb - total 288mb. Fast and reliable. Missing Some Fonts and no telnet

Cons: This is supposed to replace the 1320n model. So they doubled the RAM, but they took some of the PCL 5 fonts out and as such will not work with some of out UNIX systems. I tried installing the FONT ROM chip and that did not help. Also they took away the ability to telnet into the JetDirect.
