Great performance for the price
I just bought this, so if you are looking for long-term performance this isn't the review for you. But so far I like what I have seen.
There were problems with the previous model (4280?), including bad text printing performance, so I wanted to stay away from that model. Excellent Printer
This is an awesome printer! I was a bit skeptical because the cost was so inexpensive I didnt think it would print good quality but I read the reviews from others and decided to buy it. It is the BEST purchase Ive made. The print quality great and the speed is very good also. Photos print very well in quality. IInstallation is super easy. I highly recommend this if someone is on a budget and wants to buy a very good printer for the perfect price. I give it a thumbs up. A++++

Really good for college
I really like the HP PhotoSmart C4480 printer and it works really great for a college student and since it is fairly small it is perfect for being in a dorm room. The set up was extremely easy and fast even for a Macintosh computer. The one thing else that I needed to get for it was a USB cord because it doesn't come with one, but it comes with ink so you don't have to buy ink right off the bat and most colleges carry the ink for the printer. how can you beat it?
Ive had this little guy a week or so now and have put it through its paces to an extent. No photo printing or elaborate color yet. But for what I do most which is plain text it is just a little gem. I love the draft mode extremely fast. And thecost of ink replacement is very very reasonable.brbrSetup was easy and its already gone out and found updated drivers and so forth online.brbrIf I had to complain Id say that I wish it didnt look more like a kitchen appliance than an office machine.brb...

Pleased with quality AND price
Yes, I would have loved to purchase a more advanced, particularly wireless, printer/scanner/copier, but pricewise this was not an option for me...maybe later. Great little printer
I am delighted with this printer. I bought it specifically to make political buttons I recently bought a button maker and needed a color printer with decent resolution. This little printer is a winner especially considering the low price. It can print pictures right from my camera card and its also a color copier. Excellent Printer for the price
Needed an economical all-in-one which was compact in size and economical to operate low ink cost etc. After reading many reviews decided to go the HP C4880 and am very satisfied. The unit was easy to set up and prints awesome even printed borderless photos today which came out awesome totally impressed with how well they turned out. Really great unit for the price paid $59 with rebatediscount.

I read the reviews on different printers for quite a few months now and decided to break down and buy the HP Photosmart 4480. I was worried that the photo prints would not be good but I was wrong. Great Printer for the price
I bought this printer as a replacement for my daughters older printer which was not compatible for her computer. It is much faster than my HP 2410. The print quality is excellent. Now my daughter can print her homework in half the time. One of the best purchases Ive made recently.
