Let the Buyer Beware!
The main attraction to this copier is the net price considering the product abilities. The Canon D340 copier replaced a Canon PC920, which did a yeoman job througout its life. The new copier adds an auto-feed feature which is very handy, and works well. Other than that, the scanning area is miniscule compared to the PC920, making copying from a book next to impossible. The D340 weighs about one half of the PC920, which may reflect the quality and longevity of the new model.

Good printer and copier, with a few flaws
When I first got this machine, I was ready to give it 5 stars. It set up easily and made fast, great quality copies. I noticed a couple of glitches but thought them minor. But after a few days I have discovered shortcomings of the unit, hence the 4-stars. I was considering 3 but figure that's too low since it does basic things well. It is a multi-purpose machine, but not all-purpose.

This copier is well worth the price
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I would recommend this copier to all. It's the little brother to another Canon I own but performs equally well. Canon seems to make quality their watchword.

Great little copier for the price
I bought one of these for our high school library about 8 months ago and have been very pleased. We needed one for student use and occasional library/teacher use. (If anybody needs more than 25 copies at a time, they are told to go to the high school office or teacher workroom.) I think we've only printed about 2,000 copies so far, but have had no problems. On the + side, it's quiet, I've been able to find relatively good deals on toner, and it doesn't take up too much room. (I suspect anyt...
