Pros: Good clean power, what more can you ask for? Plenty of connectors, good cable length. Powers my new GeForce 8800GTX without a problem as well as 4 HDDs, optical drives, and a whole case full of gear without any trouble.

    Cons: None

Other Thoughts: As always, newegg rocks.

    Coulda been a contenda

    Tech Level: high
Ownership: 1 day to 1 week

    Pros: ~ It's q-u-i-E-T. (not "quiTE". DUH.)

    ~ Efficiency is very good.

    ~ Low ripple.

~ Stable voltages under load, when they're on spec.

Cons: This is a solid Seasonic design, but I think Antec cut a few corners here and it is thus overpriced at $129.99 MSRP. (Notice the price drop and rebates now offered.)

    I'm Suprised!

    Tech Level: somewhat high
    Ownership: more than 1 year

Pros: This PSU is powering a Crosshair motherboard, 6000+ CPU (slightly overclocked), 2-1G memory sticks, 2-8600 GT Extreme video cards, 5-HDs, 2-DVD burners and an X-Fi sound card. As a bonus it seriously reduces the noise my computer by controlling the 120mm case fan (4-pin Molex).

    Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I got an 850W Quatro for my new ...

    no problems, very quiet

    Tech Level: somewhat high
Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
This user purchased this item from Newegg

Pros: No problems. Voltages very stable. Very quiet. I'm using Fan Only connectors to let PS control case fan speed, and it's working quite well. 5 yr warranty.

Cons: As others have mentioned, the wires are pretty long.

Other Thoughts: The quietest PS I've ever had.

    QUIET! FIRST INSPIRON 531!

    Tech Level: high
    Ownership: less than 1 day

Pros: super quiet, more quiet than my dell factory 305W psu. First dell inspiron 531 and 530 with no need for mod. I can not hear my pc running at all! Tons of connection, all that you can think off, whether you need it or not

Cons: Cord is long! my mini tower almost didnt fit but then better longer than not long enough. there is no con other than i have to shell out more money for 8800...

Pros: Antec has a reputation for good power supplies... but sometimes one fails.

Cons: If you have to return an Antec power supply, you might as well just buy a new one.

    Tech Level: somewhat high
Ownership: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: i had the 2x 12v rail version. best power supply i owned. it worked flawlessly with my PCI-E video card no problems at all.

Cons: 10 months after i bought the thing, it burnt out on me. I woke up one morning with my room filled with a smell of melted plastic. I checked inside the power supply first and that was where the smell was coming from. it wouldn't boot my compute...

Runs great, when it likes the motherboard!

    Tech Level: high
Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
This user purchased this item from Newegg

Pros: As long as the PSU powers up, this a very good power supply. It has great reviews, has three 12 volt rails, plenty of SATA connectors, and connectors specifically for case fans.

Cons: After having troubles with "cheap" power supplies, I caved into all the reviews that stressed the importance of a good power supply. So I bucked up for...

    Died After 6 Months

    Tech Level: somewhat high
Ownership: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Had stable voltages all across the board. Replaced an old (but still working) Thermaltake. Made for good overclocking.

Cons: Bit the dust after 6 months. I've heard nothing but good things about Antec and thought it would last me awhile...but alas it did not. After a while my computer just wouldn't turn on (no post, no nothing). I switched back to my ...

    Tech Level: high
    Ownership: less than 1 day
This user purchased this item from Newegg

    Pros: none

Cons: Blew up on first run, it literally blew up, thought my whole computer was in flames. I saw sparks coming out of it and smoke followed. Had Antec before for years not a problem, replaced this one with different model Antec and so far so good. Really stay away from this one, hard to beleive that they conducted a quality control test...
