EarthWatts are built by Seasonic
Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 day to 1 week This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: All Antec EarthWatts, NeoHE's, and Trios are manufactured by Seasonic, and that is what the UL (E104405) will confirm as well. The EarthWatts has 80+ efficiency from 20-100% loads, excellent voltage regulation, low ripple, and even though it claims to have dual 12V rails it's actually a single 30A 12V rail. It also comes with a 3 yr. warranty, ...

Bought one last week
Tech Level: average Ownership: 1 day to 1 week Pros: Antec Quality. Installed easily, more than enough IDE and SATA connectors for anyone, PCI-E graphics 6-in connector included. Over 80% power efficient which I love, and I hope my electric bill does too! The 24-pin connector has wiring that is encased by a nice thick coating (looks snazzy), and there's helpful brackets that come with it for in-case organization. Quiet too!

Dissappointed...
Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 week to 1 month Pros: Seems stable so far... a company I feel I could trust.
Cons: A bit louder than I expected it to be, but thats b/c it has the smaller rear fan. One thing to note: there is no bottom grill or fan!!! Don't count on this helping at all with your airflow.
Other Thoughts: Okay, so my cons were design flaws imo, maybe someone would prefer it like...

DOA?
Tech Level: high Ownership: less than 1 day This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: It was DOA.. what can I say good thing about it.. well it is well packaged and included manual + wire tie.
Cons: DOA... my 300w no name brand is still going for 6yrs.. I can't believe this is made by seasonic.. Maybe I'm out of luck but I wasted my time and this PSU totally ruined my reputation toward seasonic and antec.

OKAY PSU
Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: 1 day to 1 week Pros: IT WORKS
Cons: PROBABLY WILL NOT WORK FOR LONG
Other Thoughts: If you click on the picture of the PSU you are considering buying and you are unable to determine what the UL code is. (That is the 6 digit number that follows an "E". Its really small and its right underneath the backwards "RU" on the label.) Chances are it wasn't ...

80 plus should be required TODAY!
Tech Level: high Ownership: less than 1 day This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: Dell needs to make 80% plus power supplies at least an option when ordering.
Two LCDs and Dell box (core 2 duo) with oem supply: 108W
Replace oem supply with Earthwatts: 66W
These were measured with UPS power meter (so ballpark numbers), but gives the you idea of how much $$$ and energy is wasted everyday by...

Quiet PSU.
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This psu is quiet. The lengths of the wires suit the Antec P180B well as I have no trouble routing the wires into the lower and upper compartments and connecting the wires to the motherboard and drives. Only the wires powering the cpu and motherboard are sleeved though.

Put yer $$ down and take your chances
Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: 1 month to 1 year Pros: Quiet. Really quiet when it died. Nice specs. Very bare bones look (if you like that) Made from Earth. (as everything is)
Cons: Disappointing. It died 3 weeks after install on a brand new core2duo system. Just a soft pop and everything went dead. Took 3 1/2 weeks to rma. One week of that was at antec. The border slowed transit. Of course the real question i...

Product Rebate

Cons: Antec rebate check bounced.
Other Thoughts: Rebate submission took nearly three months to process, then the rebate check bounced.

Amazingly Quiet
The Antec EarthWatts 430W power supply is the most quiet power supply I have ever seen - or heard in that matter - as it is perfectly silent. This unit provides a decent amount of power, and it is extremely efficient. The cables are somewhat messy to work with, but installing it inside your computer is a piece of cake.
