Excellent Remote for watching Blue-Ray Movies!!!
Im glad I bought it! I hesitated before I bought this remote because everyone was telling me that the Wireless Controller does the same thing... yes it does if you can figure it out!?! I like this remote because you have the common features.... Play Pause Stop etc. With the Wireless Controller youve got to figure it out.... dont have time for that.... Use this for you movies and use the Controller for you games....Hint From the Sony Start-up window you have to Register the remote for it to work....

A good addition to PS3

Cons: Isn't compatible with my bluetooth cell phone
Other Thoughts: My wife didn't like using the PS3 controller, so to keep her happy I had to buy this. Now she complains there are too many remotes. Women are never happy.

Must have for Blu-ray player on PS3
This is a great Bluetooth remote and mated very easily to PS3. My only gripe is that Sony should include it with every PS3 because I think that most people will be using their PS3s to play Blu-ray movies as much and maybe more than playing games. I knowI will. The remote has keys to access special features located on the blu-ray disc these features vary with each movie. Get this remote if you plan to play a lot of blu-ray or dvd movies.

Clear choice for dvd and blue-ray on PS3
I was using the playstation controller for a few months before finally getting the remote. Not only does it work seemlessly with the ps3 it also save the battery on the controller. Bluetooth is awesome as well. I highly recommend this if you watch movies on the ps3. The set-up also is very easy took 1 min.

It allows you too control all of your media playing on your PS3 as well as allows you to move around the on-screen menus. It gives you a great deal more control than the buttons on the standard controller.

very nice remote
Having grown up with Sony products Ive seen their quality go from great to less than poor and now back to great again. Sony has done a 180 degree turnaround with the quality of materials and engineering of their products. This remote is no exception.Easy to use and well laid out. Only persons that will have difficulty will be those with fat fingers because the buttons are small and tight. However once you learn to navigate the remote you can do it in the dark.

The bluetooh PS3 remote is really cool !
The remote for PS3 from Sony is cool because it allows to control the PS3 without pointing to PS3 system you can point it any direction and still control the PS game system because it is based on bluetooth !
