After some research, I got this product a few days ago. Itwas the perfect TV for my budget, it has all the features that I was looking for at an unbeatable price. The only thing that I wish it was better is the sound quality.

Excellent TV!
I have surveyed many tvs. This is my first plasma. With Walmart, you have a 90 trial period. I was hesitant due to this being a large, heavy tv. But I have been delightfully surprised.
It pops right out of the box with the stand already connected. That's a huge help!
The picture quality is stunning. I've only viewed 32 inchers at home. The 42 inch makes a huge difference! No more straining eyes, and makes movie watching thoroughly enjoyable.

I love my product
My tv in my bedroom makes my new bedroom set look wonderful. I always wanted a flat screen and wal-mart made it possible with there reasonable prices .I love my Vizio!!

I think that for the price, this TV is a great deal and anyone looking for a lower level flat panel would be happy with this as a starter. This TV goes beyond the basic functionality and includes many extras and connections.

Love it...
I bought this TV last year in March; and we absolutely love it. My children threw a baseball into it and it didn't break the outside screen, but the plasma panel broke, so we now have to replace it. But I am adament about buying the same exact TV. That's how much I love this one. Although the sound quality isn't great, but we don't worry over it because we a GREAT home theatre system to compliment it. All in all, love the product.

Great picture & sound
Well since I have had this HD TV for a little less than a week. I can't give a detailed review. But, from what I have seen so far it's great. The only things I have a negative comments about is the whites are very bright. This may be due to the fact that on my old TV I could control the contrast. This set has no such control. The other night there was a commercial wiith a totally white screen .... You could read a book on the far side of the room with the light that came from the TV.

Great TV but not a 1080p
Good enough for the $688 price. I've used this 42" plasma for 8 months now and it has performed perfectly. I now want a 37" Vizio 1080P LCD for my computer and RV but it is not listed here at Walmart. Only 720p..

great tv
At first i did not want a plasma because of how long they used to last but now they are right up there with the LCD tv's at 60,000 hours of life. so if you watch tv for 8 hours a day you can exptect a little over 22 years of use. Not Too Bad.
I run a playstation 3 on this tv and it's great for game play with 1ms response time is really good for fast moving games and movies.
overall you will not find a better tv for price.

Very good product for the money
When I first received the TV from having it shipped, I was heart broken because they delivered a broken TV. I went to my nearest Walmart and exchanged it. When I got it home and unpacked it from the box I was so surprised at how big the television actually was. The picture quality is great and it hasn't frozen on me, it is very clear. A fine product
I've had this TV for about 2 weeks and so far so good. The sound quality could be a little better but it's OK. I don't have HD yet but the picture is just fine. I really can't tell the difference between the plasma and my old tube TV. I think I'm going to buy a LCD for the bedroom. Overall, I'm happy with it and like the in-home repair warranty with Vizio. I'll probably buy another Vizio. Good deal for the $$!
