Best 2009 Plasma TV
This TV is the best thing I have spent my hard earn money on in the last 9 years. Picture quality is amazing. Everything from HDTV, PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and Blu-ray looks jaw dropping compared to my old rear projection set. It has PIP. Sammy's new TV's plasma 650
Great TV, love all almost everything about it... the remote that comes with it is kinda second rate but I'm using a Harmony one to control it so not an issue for me.
I'm amazed at all the Menu options, really makes it possible to "fine" tune your picture. Picture quality is awesome on this set, if your looking for great colors and have a brighter room don't be afraid to pick up this set. Great for HD But beware of some issues you may not know
This TV has a stunning picture if you are watching HD content. OH, and all important info missing on Samsung is that it does HAVE PIP. However it has a lot of issues that make Samsung or Plasma/LCD TV's a pain.
1) The sound from the T speakers is useless,yes some of us do like to use the TV speakers for regular TV watching to preserve our hearing.

STUNNING
I went from a Sony 40" to this. The picture is ALOT better. pretty much anybody who buys this TV will already have at least a soundbar and a sub so the audio (although pretty good) isn't really an issue.
The TV was delivered a week earlier than I expected. It was delivered and plugged in to make sure it was working fine. I was most concerned about that part. Returning it for any reason would have been a pain.

Great Picture But Weigh the Pros and Cons
Yes the 2009 Samsung B650 provides an excellent picture, but only under certain limited conditions.
Pros:
1) Fantastic picture quality during daytime viewing
2) brighter than 850/860 series
Cons:
1) Blacks become grey at nighttime (even worse with Cinema Smooth engaged)
2) hot screen - high power consumption
3) large percentage of 2009 Samsungs have weird buzzing at primary seating location
4) The Cinema Smooth feature raises the black level

Downgrade in size, upgrade in quality
I purchased this model Samsung plasma back in late June and have not regretted a single moment of it's use since. I previously had a Mitsubishi 65" wide screen rear projection and it was capable of 1080i. It was paired with a now 4yr old Onkyo 7.1 home theater in a box setup and my Sony Playstation 3.
