Pros: Great picture
Cons: Sound is a great example of over-educated and under qualified engineering. This set should not have speakers in it because of the noise generated by the power supply. Get buzzing even with the speakers turned off and the ferrite core installed on the power cord. Audio out is not variable. This set should only be used with an external audio receiver.

Waste of money!!
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Purchased this TV on 11/26/08 after reading several reviews. Here were are nearly a year later and the TV is useless. A few weeks ago, the TV developed vertical mult-colored line on the screen. The TV is under warranty but it's been like pulling teeth to get anything done. Stay away from Samsung!

Pros: At $1,699 with free shipping and no sales tax this TV is the best thing out there.
Cons: Cheap Stand. 1st one was defective.
Other Thoughts: Bought this TV for $1699 from New Egg with free shipping, what a steal!!! The picture on this Plasma is fantastic. The only issue I had was the stand....

Pros: I enjoy the new Samsung 58" Plasma so much! It is a A550, the color is great, hookup was easy, and best of all, I got the best price from Newegg.com and the delivery service was superb! it was fast and curteous, I'm so glad I canceled my order from that warehouse store.

The picture is awesome. Delivery day though, only one guy was on tap, so I had to help out. No big deal. I just thought though that you'd have at least a couple of guys available to give the best customer service.
