Fantastic for 2 months solid
I'd like to give this 4.5 stars...I can't give 5, and 4 is too low, but amazon only limits this to whole stars, so 4 it is.
Got this item at a steal of a price from a local retailer who was desperate for business. Great display, amazing value
I have had my PN50a650 for a almost 2 weeks now, and have been very impressed. Colors can be calibrated to be almost perfectly accurate, and black levels are great as well. There are not many professional reviews of the 650 series out yet, but the reviews of the 550 series have been extremely positive:

Simply WOW!!
I purchased a Samsung 650 Plasma and was amazed.. Understand, I didn't trust the internet purchase and was not sure if this was really the product I wanted. Amazing tv
Ive had this tv for a couple of weeks now and I am extremly satisfied. The color is amazing, and the blacks are deep and rich. And for the price you wont find anything comparable. I did a lot of research before this purchase and everything I read pointed me towards this tv. CNET.com is a great site to do your research on. If your concerned about the red tint on the border of the tv, dont be. It doesnt light up or anything (I thought it did) and it is hardly noticeable. Dont let that sway you one...

Great TV
This is a great TV. I did ton's of research before I settled on this TV. It was between this and the Panasonic Viera TV with THX certification. The panasonic was more expensive. I went and looked at both side by side and could not tell the difference between the 2. The red "touch of color" is very subtle, and not an issue. This TV is phenominal!

Awesome Picture.
I teach film and wanted something that would enhance my viewing experience without overwhelming my medium sized, 14 wide by 20 living area. This TV is a Must Have for a Videophile
Look, I have had a lot of HDTV's and like other reviewers I veered away from the plasmas because of Burn-In concerns and the like. I have had this TV for about a month and have enjoyed nothing but pleasure from it. The blacks are some of the deepest I have ever witnessed on a TV. I think this TV could truly give the Pioneer Kuro a run for it's money. I looked at the Panny's too and I was unimpressed when I saw the 650 next to it.

Best pictue I have ever seen !!
Honestly I looked around at numerous HDTVs and I kept going back to this one. The picture quality and sound is top of the line and the Touch of Color cabinet is an added cool feature. The colors are bold and vibrant and the built in surround sound options make this the perfect TV for sporting events. I am in awe.......This plasma HDTV hasnt been out long but Circuit city has the best price out of all of them and it is more than worth the money !! Buy it without fear and enjoy it I know I did.

Great TV
I recommend this TV and I recommend Amazon as a vendor. Initially I ordered the 46" LCD Samsung (650), it had intermittent display problems so I sent it back. Meantime my "research" revealed that many authorities prefer the picture quality of plasma to LCD. So I opted for this one, and I'm very happy with it. I just let go of a Sony CRT HDTV to purchase this, which I've had now for three weeks. I was slow to go to flat panel because of their notoriously poor rendition of blacks. I was right to wait, and this was the right product to wait for. I don't know how blacks could get any darker than the way they're displayed on this screen.
