Great TV!!
I was looking into the panasonic tvs for a while but once i saw the picture quality of the samsung tvs i was an instant Samsung fan. Great TV Great Picture. Sound quality really isnt the greatest but thats what surround sound systems are for!!brbrIm now looking to buy the 52 LCD for another room in the house. Cant wait!!

Pros: The biggest pro would have to be the wonderful picture, something you'd be hard-pressed to find outside a new movie theater. It's quite beautiful, sporting a sleek UI and outer design. This is my second review for this panel! The first one was lost! (Frustrating it was!!!)
First off Amazon has kept their promise with their Post-Order Price Guarantee. Delivery was prompt and the white glove delivery people were like, "This is the best condition a tv box has ever came through their shipping company". They did like Amazon said...they'll bring it in, unpack it, set it up where you want it and take the box away! One of the many reasons why I shop from Amazon!

Is there really a noticeable difference between 1080i and 1080p? You bet!!! And the Samsung PN50A550S 50-inch 1080p Plasma HDTV shows off the difference brilliantly.

Outstanding PQ and Value, sound quality is barely average
This TV is an outstanding value for the PQ you get from it. The color and the image processing are first rate. No grit or grain with a very good HD feed just sharp smooth image quality. I had Samsungs top of the line LN52A750 for 30 days but returned itbecause of motion blur and off angle PQ drop off. This replacement Ive had for 5 weeks and it is in most every PQ area superior to the LCD. Deep Rich colors and more perceived image depth than the LCD. An easy to use good TV at a great price
The picture is great and the setup & connections were easy. I had this up and running within 15 minutes. After a few minor adjustments the picture was even better. I am not using the built in sound so I cannot comment on that feature. I kept the brightness & contrast levels low for the first 2 weeks and also ran a break-in DVD to avoid any picture burn-in problems. Now I have it adjusted to settings I found on the internet and the picture is better than I expected. At a price of under $1900.00 ...

Great mid-level plasma
I think this plasma is the best mid-level deal out there. It seems to have just the right amount of config options in the menus... not too little or overwhelming. I suggest using a break in DVD to avoid any burn in during the first 100-150 hours. Sometimes these plasmas are a bit hot at the start.

Beautiful picture, excellent value
This TV is amazing. I was looking at the Pioneer PDP series but for $1000 less this Samsung has a crisp picture that was effectively indistinguishable from the Pioneer.brbrThe menus are intuitive the picture controls are extensive but the picture rightout of the box is exceptional enough. I was impressed by the HDTV regular definition DVDs and the BluRay picture blows me away.brbrGreat picture great value for the money. Whats not to love?

An HDTV with a great picture for an even greater price.
Once we got this TV upstairs and set it up we were hooked. The HD channels look amazing and sports on an HDTV is just jaw dropping. I did some research on the best plasmas out there and this model was about third from the top but about 500 to 1000 buckscheaper than the top two models. I have no regrets.
