No glare, Colors are vibrant, Blacks are deep
The picture is great, and the color controls seem pretty basic. I am satisfied with the level of control. The reds and greens are very vibrant, and the blacks are nice and deep.
It only has 3 HDMI inputs, but I don't need more than that, and if you have a high-def home theater system I would think that most of your components are channeled through the receiver.
I was a little suprised to find out that Closed Captions don't work over HDMI. This is a limitation of the HDMI...

Great TV for the price
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I bought this TV a few weeks ago and finally hooked it up. The picture quality is excellent, it does not have the fake effect like some LCD's do. Couldn't be happier
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Great tv for a great price. Vibrant picture, deep blacks, easy controls... this tv was highly recommended by nearly every reviewer I could find and I can see why.

Excellent cost/benefit
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This is my second Panasonic plasma TV. The first, a 42", cost almost twice as much as this 54". Only defect if you can call it that, is the limited user tweaking available in the regular menus. I can do what I want by accessing the service menu, but most people don't wish to go to the trouble (or take the risk) nor pay for a professional calibration.
