Nobody in this market segment gets it right...

Nearly DOA
I have two of model 25404RE3. Needed a 3rd for home office use. Ordered this 'new' model by mistake. The two 25404RE3 phones work fine, but the new 25414RE3 doesn't. First, the phone recognizes only line one when a two line cord is plugged into the first jack. To get it to work for my two lines, I have to plug it into the second jack and use line 3 and 4. Second, it doesn't intercom at all with the 254o4RE3 models. This needs to go back!
Also, FWIW I like the aesthtics of the older ...

Not Very Convenient . . .
With all of the great features modern electronics allows us to have, it's a shame that so few of them are available with this phone. For the last 8 months we have used this system at our small business with 4 of them linked together. It has a clock display, but only when your not on the phone. It has an annoying hold beep, audible even on the lines that are not involved. Great price for small office
We have 5 of these, two of the plain four line phones w/o the auto attendent feature and the cordless phone. The phones are great in every aspect except (2)- when routing the calls the auto attendent needs to play music, it has a beep that is so close to when a machine answers that many people talk and hang up before they have been transferred to the person's voicemail.
