Wonderful LCD, Great Value
I recently purchased this television for my bedroom. It's the perfect size to give a "widescreen feeling" and HD experience in a bedroom without being overbearing. Do Not Be Fooled--this is not a good deal.
I purchased this tv on the recommendation of a friend. I was extremely disappointed. The viewing angle on this tv is not 160 degrees. It is more like 60 degrees. Basically, I have to sit straight in front of the tv to see the picture.
The television forces you to watch all movies in widescreen, even if they are not set up as such. Thus, it often skews the viewing picture, making everything appear short and stumpy (even someone as lanky as Fred Astaire).

Great TV
I purchased this TV to replace the big tube TV in our bedroom, and have been extremely pleased with it. The viewing angle is extremely wide compared to other LCD TV's I have looked at in the past. I don't know if that is a product of the technology getting better in time or if it's specific to Vizio. The picture quality of HD signal rivals my 1080i native 50" plasma. Make Your Own Comparison.
We are satisfied with this 26" LCD tv. It was purchased because of favorable direct comparison with other well known manufacturers as well as recommendations from friends that have experience with the brand. We have a problem free 37" 1080p Magnavox LCD for movie viewing, and use the VIZIO for sports and casual viewing in the kitchen. Terrible TV -
I've owned a Vizio 26L for less than 4 months - it broke: the power just stopped working. They make you pay for your shipping and handling and the wait time for issues is longer than 2 hours. I have never owned any TV that does not last longer than 10-14 years. The worst brand of TV I have ever bought -- I would never ever buy another one. Customer service sucks

Great for the Price
I have had my Vizio for several months, and I love it. It's perfect for smaller rooms and easy to move around. Anyone having problems with the picture needs to take theirs back. Both my cable installer and my nephew adjusted mine for me and it's perfect. And all LCD/HD flat screens have distortion when viewed from too much of an angle, so that's why it's important to get the right size for your room.

Better than I expected
Hi everyone. Many of you will probably read this review. I for one did a lot of research before I bought this tv. I wanted the best for what I could afford. This Vizio HDTV has great picture and sound. I have my tv set up in my room so I have plenty of sound coming from it, since my room is small. If you are planning on buying this tv for a bigger room I would recommend a surround sound. Still the speakers are louder than I expected. It all depends on the inidividual.

Great Computer Monitor
I work online 10-12 hours a day. I finally invested in a comfortable office chair and decided to buy a monitor I could read without my glasses on. I love my Vizio Flat Panel TV. Now I have the best of both worlds; a large monitor and a fantastic TV to watch when I take a break. I can highly recommend this product.
