BEWARE! False Claims!
Purchased this product and found it did not live up to company's claims. Learned fresh out of the box it did not work like they said it would. Upon trying to resolve the issue, the company was uncooperative and full of lame irrelevent excuses. They did not even offer a replacement incase ours was defective. Our time and money was wasted on this product. We are in the process of trying to return the product, unfortunately at our own expense.
If there was an option of rating with I n...

Skeptical at first but loving it now!
I was a little skeptical about the reliability and speed of these devices. I have been curious about the technology since they first started coming out, but I decided to give it a try with these faster speeds and reasonable pricing. I couldn't be more pleased. I had an ethernet cable strung through the attic and hanging down through the attic stairs, but I thought these would be a simpler, more elegant way to go. I've been enjoying high-ping, error-free online multiplayer gaming with the Pow...

85 Turbo is good
The speed is much faster than 14Mbps. Good for my home networking sharing and online gaming.

It's a beautiful thing...
I connected the adapters to a power outlet then connected one to the back of my computer, and the other to the back of the wireless router. No problem. I would highly recomend this product.

Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 month to 1 year This user purchased this item from Newegg.com Pros: Works great! My wireless router and USB wireless tivo connection were always poor. Set this unit up and connection and performance are excellent.
Cons: More expensive than it should be.

Works wonderfully!
I had been stringing ethernet cable through my attic to reach a room across the house from my cable modem. However, with this pair of gadgets, that's not necessary. I've been using these for over a year with zero problems. I even use it to online games with a PC and an XBox 360 which require excellent performance. There has never been any issues with these demanding applications.

Easy Networking without going wireless
I picked up these IOGear networking boxes for a great price and they do the job as promised. I can plug one box into my router then plug the device into the wall outlet. Plug the other into another outlet in a different room and plug that second computer it to it as the otherone is, and *POOF*, instant Internet to that computer and without a speed loss either on my DSL connection. I've run speed tests several times on both machines and got the same results for each, so there is no indication of ...

Works as advertised
I was hesitant to buy the earlier, first-generation products using this technology that had only advertised speeds of 12 Mbps, but I'm very happy with these newer units. The utility is showing around 66 Mbps versus the claimed 85, and that's great. I use the pair to network my office to a spare room where I do online gaming. I've seen no issues for gaming, which requires low pings and reliable connections. It certainly beats wiring the house or flakey wireless connections.
