A very nice investment!
I love my new laptop! The icons are easy to see and the views online are great. I'm still getting use to sliding objects around with only my finger, but loving it!

great value
I am an IT staffer and use and evaluate all kinds of laptops, desktops, etc. I usually prefer HP, however, I am extremely pleased with this Toshiba laptop. I had a problem with the adapter cord getting too hot to touch and called them and they shipped me a replacement cord out right away. I was very pleased. I didn't have to go through 600 different technical troubleshooting steps...what a relief. That is such a pain. I would recommend this laptop not only because of price, but additionally, bec...

WIFI ON THIS
i have not had this product for even a month and the WIFI switch has already gone out i have to send it in to toshiba to get it fixed... the only good thing about this product is the warranty and the simple fact i cant contact my friends and family that are deployed and serving this country as my fiance is....

Great Value
Purchased this laptop to replace a desk top and it is doing the job. Have been using it over 2 weeks and haven't had a problem yet with adding programs and files of all types including games, email, and financial program. Also added printer seamlessly. Of course additions must be Vista compatible. Definitely recommend this product.

Great Deal
For the price of this computer you cant go wrong it is nice and fast has about everything you could want in a laptop. Everybody that has tried this laptop just cant believe the price and where i found it they say it should be twice the price.

Greatness
I'm a teacher and part-time student, and I needed a laptop. I bought this one thanks to a relative's recommendation, and I just love it, love it, love it. It's a darn fine piece of machinery. Toshiba did a great job not filling it to the brim with useless offers or stupid programs, it's a breeze to customize exactly how you want, and it does what I want it to do when I want it to. What more can you ask? So far, I haven't a single complaint, about Toshiba OR even Windows Vista!

Great Laptop.. Battery not so good
So far so good as to function, but it doesnt last long off the plug and it doesnt warn you it just shuts off. You get what you pay for .. for an additional $149.99 you can buy a 9 cell battery from toshiba..

Internet Card Problems
You should be aware that the PC slot or "Express" slot is not compatible with internet cards if you wish to get one from one of the phone coompanies. There is no place in the data that came with the computer or on their online website to tell you this. Neither will the so-called tech support assist in this.
Perhaps the USB internet connector will work, but the other internet cards that phone companies provide won't work. Found this out the hard way!
