Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I bought the 1000HE specifically for business travel. I was tired of lugging around a large laptop with low battery life.
The 1000HE fit the bill. It's lightweight and, best of all, has outstanding battery life. With more and more flights offering wifi on-board, this netbook is perfect. With limited space on planes, the 1000HE is ideal to use on a flight.

A Great Netbook
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This is a great computer. When I bought it I immediately installed EEEbuntu on an empty partition that was lying around. EEEbuntu worked out nicely, however I was only getting about 8 hours of battery life from it (this was even after doing a lot of tweaking). More recently I've been using XP, getting ~10.5 hours of battery life on the lowest brightness with WIFI turned off.
