Simply works....
This is my first mobile Mac - and I like it. I had spent more than a few hours pondering the decision of which MacBook to get and I feel that I picked the right one for my needs.
This White 2.0 MacBook is a terrific combination of price and features: you can expect similar performance to the uni-body Aluminum 2.0 MacBooks, but $100s cheaper. Macbook w/ 2GB runs Vista well
Tech Level: high
Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: I am a Sys Admin for a state university. I use this Macbook with 2 GB ram to manage Apple, Linux and Windows servers and it works very well for me. I have it setup to dual boot OS X/Vista Ultimate. The Boot camp drivers work very well and my Vista scores are:
Base: 3.1
Proc: 4.9
Mem: (2GB) 4.5
Graphics Aero: 3.2
Graphics Gaming: 3.1
Primary HD: 4.9

It is the new Updated White Macbook.
*Better Graphics card
*Firewire
*iLife 09 (i believe)
Upgrade the memory (4GB - $80) and hard drive (500GB -$100) yourself. This is very good machine for the price.

5-stars, until I couldn't print
I was amazed (and pleased!) to find that Amazon has this product $40 cheaper than the Apple store.
It's a Mac. I am totally happy with the experience of setting it up and getting it up and running. It was a 5-star experience, until I plugged in my HP OfficeJet G85 printer. Now it's a 4-star experience. The drivers for OS 10.5 (Leopard) don't work with the OfficeJet line. International Warranty Warning
I write this as a warning to any business person or student who intends to use this product abroad for extended periods. I am a big fan of Apple, having purchased 8 Apple systems for myself or family members over the past 25 years. But now that loyalty has been seriously shaken because of warranty repair issues.
