Maxell continues their insistance on quality. These disks are made by RiTEK and use dye 7. They probably work better in 10-12X or higher, newer writers due to their dye choice. The only comprably priced disks that I've used which are better are Fujifilm, 48X, Silver. Their disks are made by Tayo Yuden. Companies often change manufacturers but some like Fuji and Maxell insist on quality disks and stick with good manufacturers. Maxell CD-RPro's are better quality still but a bit pricier. I ...

Maxell CD-R Pack
This was not worth the money. Just go to walmart and buy some you'll get a better deal.
