What's great about it: good movie, loved the kids
What's not so great: wasnt what I thought it was gonna be
"Loved that the movie was shot in the slums and used people from the slums. I didnt like the subtittles in the begining...they were super small and I couldnt read a thing. Overall it was ok...I don't believe it deserved best picture but thats just my opinion!!"

What's not so great: no additional features on DVD :(
"I rushed to the store to get this film the first day it came out. Though I'm fine with my purchase, I was a bit upset that I was given absolutely NO SPECIAL FEATURES on the DVD version. I'm guessing the additional features are on blu-ray, unfortunately."

What's great about it: Screenplay
What's not so great: Characters speaking english and especially kids from slum talking english is funny
"Story: Based on a novel and it was different - good.
Music: A.R. Rahman is my favorite too and has done far better in other movies than this one.
