Great board. Your P/S must have an EPS12volt, 8-pin connector
PROs: - Solid board. Very heavy compared to most other mobo's I've worked with (heavy being a good thing, due to the heatsink material, which you want in a mobo that will be running an i7) Easy install Easy setup.
I ordered one for a client and it operates fine. It was built for a business environment, so it is built as a desktop PC, NOT a gaming rig.
-cables - EVGA includes like 5 or 6 Sata cables, about 4 molex-to-sata adapters. -adapters - evga includ...

No NIC Teaming loses a star
EVGA's quality is exceptional, this board definitely exemplifies that. With great tools for the overclocking enthusiast, or rock-solid stability for the power user, it's hard to find a better board. Hard, but not impossible. EVGA left off a piece that streamers of large files over LAN will miss... NIC Teaming. Although the RealTek controller supports it, EVGA did not implement it on this X58 board. The only people who will notice this are those building a file server and have a compatible sw...

EVGA shows its colors
Actually, it just shows black and green with splashes of blue and white.
I haven't had any trouble with this MoBo. I love the layout--although if I were a 3-way SLI-er, and you know who you are, I might have trouble connecting some auxiliary cables (front HD audio). Great BiOS, easy to use.

Excellent support makes all the difference
Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 week to 1 month This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: Do you know how agonizing it can be to get to technical support for a mobo? Most RMA'd motherboards are not really bad, but users just can't get them to work for some tiny reason. All they really needed was just a little support.
EVGA provides that support; as in a 24/7 hotline populated by techs who speak clear English. The user commun...

Quality Workmanship
Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 day to 1 week This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: Best motherboard I've ever owned. A great way to stick with the company with the best customer support and get rid of those nasty Nvidia based boards. It comes with a provided EVGA software which helps fine tune your cpu and overclock it outside of the bios. Buyers are guaranteed a 90 day step up period (whether or not that will apply to the Nforce 200 X58 is ...

EVGA = WIN
Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 day to 1 week Pros: To avoid issues, I flashed the board the minute I booted with no issues.
Layout of board is good, and made good cable management a breeze.
Board comes with very good array of necessary peripherals.
Cons: Manual offers no RAID help. States 2 ports as RAID ready(RED). These 2 JMicron ports were a nightmare to work with. If trying to RAID, be sure to USE THE BLACK INTEL B...

Great right out of the box! Minor things to look for
Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: 1 day to 1 week This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: Installed fine in my Coolermaster case without clearance issues. Zalman CNPS7900 also cleared all heatsinks around the CPU without a problem. Well packaged with plenty of extra cables, connectors, etc. SATA, IDE (old CD drive) and power cables had no clearance issues either. The BIOS is organized well and easy to follow. I didn't try to overclock ...

Not what I was hoping for so far
Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: 1 day to 1 week This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: For the 1st time I actually made it into the bios, there's a lot of bells and whistles in here. I will update my review when my replacement arrives. I have to give it another star because I called customer support and it was quite possibly the best tech support experience I've had for as long as I can remember. Wait times were truly under a minute a...
