A good remote for a Windows Media Center HTPC but the iTunes control doesn't scale to large iTunes libraries
This product is a combination of a universal remote, a Windows Media Center remote, and a mouse. It can control up to three IR devices (TV, Aux, Cab/Sat) and one PC via RF. Mostly excellent, two gripes
Overall, this is a fantastic remote for an HTPC. The mouse feature is second to nothing else on the market (Thanks, Gyration!) and the controls are generally easy to use. However, I have two gripes - one very minor, the other rather annoying:
First, it was a slight inconvenience that it arrived without an instruction booklet, so I had to pop out to Gyration's website and download the programming instructions before I could use it to turn on my television. BTW, if you need to do this, the in...

best remote ever
I was worried when i first ordered this product didn't think it could possibly work as well as i would like. Boy was I wrong this thing is amazing i absolutely love it. plug it in and go simple no playing around with settings super intuitive control 2 minutes with this in your hand and you will never want to hold any other remote. Doesn't work with Win XP
I bought this remote to use with Media Portal because I wanted an MCE remote. The Media Portal setup says if you have an MCE remote all you have to do it select it and everything should work. This remote works better in Media Portal as a General HID. Used this way you still have to map some buttons to get full functionality.
The mouse control works great.

Super Remote
I love my Gyration remote. Not only can I control my television and television, I have mouse control of my Linux computer. This remote was designed to work with Windows Media Center and Vista, so users of those systems should get even more functionality out of it than I do. I highly recommend it.
