Great option for easy home theater and moving up to Blu-ray
We purchased this LG BD system at the same time that we bought an LG 37LH40 TV. We were going to just get the TV but the store had one of the BD systems setup as a demo and offered us a good deal if we bought both, and having always wanted a home theater system and wanting to go with Blu-ray this was a good option for us. Don't Pass Up For Lack of HDMI In
Tech Level: high
Ownership: 1 week to 1 month
Pros: Everything works as expected. Above average quality audio, stunning picture with LG LED LCD using Blu-ray. Extra features (i.e. Netflix, Pandora) work great.
Cons: I have yet to find any.
Other Thoughts: I was about to pass this product up for the more expensive LG LHB977 because the 953 doesn't include any HDMI inputs. My TV, however, passes the sound ...
