Large Bucket - Very Few Legos!
Durability: Fun: Educational: I am shocked at the reviews for this product. Nearly every review mentions the fact that the product is "over-priced for the number of blocks you get" or "you may want to skip this product and buy the deluxe duplo set". I totally agree!

Great Toy
Durability: Fun: Educational: My son received this Lego Duplo set for his first birthday and he plays with it everyday! At first he just liked to knock down whatever I created with the blocks, but now at 15 months he can build too! The blocks are very colorful and sturdy. But this set is fairly small. We are purchasing the Deluxe set for Christmas to expand our building options- I might suggest starting with the bigger set and skipping this one!

Dawson's Legos
My grandson, and his sibling, and cousins, thoroughly enjoyed these Duplo Legos! Along with the "Diego Set", they played & played for a very long time! YEA!!!

Awesome set! Ignore the age limit too!
Durability: Fun: Educational: We have several sets of these Duplos and they are still loved and played with by kids even when they get older. To be honest, they're wonderful to build huge towers with them, and the older kids also add the smaller legos for bridges, roads, etc. They're just great fun, will last a lifetime and the price here is great on them too. They're still loved in this house - highly recommend!

Lego company got cheap
Durability: Fun: Educational: We got this "My First Lego Duplo" set in December 2008 for our twins because our older son loved his starter box of Lego Duplos when he was the same age (about a year and a half old).
In 2004, it cost about fyfteen bucks on sale (normally twenty) for a starter box/chest that contained 140 blocks. I have searched high and low, and that same plastic chest with 140 blocks is nowhere to be found.

Nothing for the money
Durability: Fun: Educational: I love Lego and Duplo blocks, but for $35 all you get are 33 pieces? It is ridiculous, my husband and I were shocked when our son received it for Christmas. The blocks are fun but not without buying the expansion pack. So for some blocks for a little kid, you are going to wind up shelling out $60+. It isn't worth it.

Expensive for what you get!
Durability: Fun: Educational: This item is fun for my 14 month old to play with, but there aren't enough pieces to make anything. Seriously, there is maybe 15 to 20 building pieces total. You couldn't even build two walls. For the price, I think I wouldn't recommend it.

Love the Legos
Durability: Fun: Educational: I purchased this toy for my 3-year old daughter. She loves it, as does every child when they get their first set of Legos. I like these better than the small Legos, for the choking factor and the ease of putting together; plus they are less likely to get lost. I do, however, wish it came with more pieces - you can't really build any fantastic structures with just 30-pieces. But I will happily buy more, as Legos are timeless! ...

Durability: Fun: Educational: I was shocked when I opened the case, I actually thought it's used because there were only half case of Lego. Dont know why they use such a big case for just a few pieces. Really not worth the money, really disappointed.
