Apple 1GB Shuffle - A steep price for a starter MP3 Player

The iPod Shuffle second generation is a great MP3 player for working out or running, especially if you are a die-hard Apple fan. However, the steep price means you had better review all your options before you choose this.

The much improved Shuffle now has colors
NEW:
-Thinner
-Square
-Aluminum
-Clip instead of lanyard
-Docked USB instead of strait plug
-Slightly lighter
-Available in new colors
GOOD:
-Very compact
-Great looking design and button layout
-Excellent sound quality
-Much more durable (and less flimsy, I always felt like I'd break my old shuffle in half if I sat on it)
-No external cap to loose
-Clip is very useful
-iTunes Sync

Powerful sound, small casing!
When I first listened to my new IPod shuffle, I was blown away by the sound. I couldn't believe this little item could sound this incredible! One possible downside is it can get lost easily due to it's small size. The clip is very nice to keep it from moving around. My previous shuffle would bounce around while I was on the recumbant bike. The shuffling of music doesn't work the greatest, I seem to hear some songs more than others.

Very expense....wake up apple

0. Both retail for 70$ and both are really very cute.
1. Shuffle is apple while creative is not. So all the apple fans would buy it anyway.
2. Shuffle has no screen, zen stone plus has got a screen albeit a small one.
3. shuffle has 1gb memory while zen stone plus has 2gb.

Good system ruined by iTunes

What's all of the fuss about?

It does not list the names of the tracks or the artist being played. It is way too small and therefore an inconvenience. I stuck it in a drawer somewhere last January and there it has been ever since. It is not even worth my time or effort to see if it works.
