Love it!
I love my shuffle! I like how you don't have to listen to the songs shuffled if you don't want and I love the clip feature. 250 songs is just right for me. This little baby is perfect for exercising or when you're on the go and you don't want to worry where you'll put it like the full sized iPods. I'm PO'd I bought mine before Apple decided to come out with colored shuffles. Not cool Apple. Gadget of the year!!!
I never thought I'd live to the day where I'd fit the content of about 24 CD's (240 songs) in a little player the size of a quarter!!

Apple does it again
Apple continues to add new options to their products that allow the appeal of such a player to continue. I picked up the orange shuffle as I was instantly attracted to the new color introduced by Apple. So, after using it for a few days, heres what I found:

Great design, terrible hissing problem
I really wanted to like this thing. I love its size, its design, and its functionality. However, I can't get over the constant background hissing noise. You can't hear the hiss with the earbuds that come bundled with the shuffle, but it's quite audible with any high-end (high fidelity, low impedance, noise isolating) earbuds, like my Ultimate Ears super.fi 5Pro.
If you're planning on using this ONLY when you work out, it'll be fine because you won't notice the hiss when you're in...

Very expense....wake up apple

0. Both retail for 70$ and both are really very cute.
1. Shuffle is apple while creative is not. So all the apple fans would buy it anyway.
2. Shuffle has no screen, zen stone plus has got a screen albeit a small one.
3. shuffle has 1gb memory while zen stone plus has 2gb.

Good system ruined by iTunes

What's all of the fuss about?

It does not list the names of the tracks or the artist being played. It is way too small and therefore an inconvenience. I stuck it in a drawer somewhere last January and there it has been ever since. It is not even worth my time or effort to see if it works.
