Much better than a gasoline.mower.
The MM675 Lawn Hog is my first electric lawn mower. All comparisons are therefore with my previous gasoline lawn mowers. My lawn is less than 3500 square feet. It was very easy to assemble. This is the first electric mower I have owned and I have found it to be easier to use than a gas powered mower. It is lighter than a gas mower and is less tiring to use in spite of not being self propelled. Very good mower
My first time with an electric mower. I have a fairly small yard in the city. The mower has worked to my full satisfaction and I am pleased. By learning to mow away from the electric outlet the cord has never gotten in my way. I am very impressed with the mulching function. Never leaves clumps like I had with a gas mower. I love my electric mower. Bagging could be better...

It actually mulches!
I have a quarter acre with a bunch of gardens and mowing was always a dreaded task. I used a 5.5 H.P. gas self propelled mower. It took about an hour and a half to mow the yard. And when I was done I was always covered in grass clippings and smelled of gas and exhaust. Not to mention that nice 'tingly' feeling in my hands. While I was mowing the other day I ran into something in the yard and killed my gas mower dead. It was damaged beyond repair so I needed a new mower.

Excellent Electric Mower
This is an excellent, electric mower for the price. It is quieter than just about any lawn mower I have heard and does a very good job in the "mulching mode". It is easy to assemble, everything works smoothly and the flip handle helps in the corners. It is also just as powerful as any gas mower for the same price that I have seen. Excellent first impression
I have just used the mower for the first time and I will say it works great. I've have grown tired of maintaining my gas items and am switching everthing to electric. I do not have a small lawn and the mower did not miss a beat. It also sucked up the stray leaves and stuff and mulched them up just fine. I love this mower!
I've had this mower for about 4 years now and it still works great. I have always used it just as a mulching mower, never even attached the side discharge attachment. The mulching works great and my lawn always looks good after mowing.
A few things to keep in mind:
-You must not let the grass get too long, or you may have to make 2 passes. The electric motor just can't handle grass that is too high.

rocks, branches ... it even mows grass
I first used this mower a month ago and love it. Assembly is a snap. It might have taken my longer to just open the box than to assemble it.
Reading these reviews here, I really questioned the durability of the mower so I purposely used a high cutting height - especially since I haven't mowed my lawn in a while. Each time afterwards, I lowered it down another notch and the Lawn Hog performed admirably.
