Plasma replacement
I bought this television to replace a 42" Samsung plasma TV that the picture went out on after less than two years. I didn't have the extended warranty, and was told it would cost approximately $600-$1000 to repair. After talking to my local dealer, who sells Toshibas, he convinced me to go with the Toshiba brand. Awesome for price
Own this TV for 2 weeks now no issues so far. This TV is definitely the best in its class. I got it on sale for $1450+tax. Great video processor latest generation for toshiba. It is not the 120 Hz model but i stared at the TVs in CC for over 2 hoursand didnt see big enough difference between the 60 Hz and the 120Hz to justify the price difference. Very concerned about this purchase.
I am very concerned about this purchase. After two weeks
a vertical line appeared exactly 4 inches from the left hand
edge of the screen frame. I contacted Toshiba who put me in
touch with a local electronic repair company. I was asked by them
to take photos of the line on the screen. They in turn would order

Excellent picture
I bought this TV for my bedroom. Its hooked up to my computer my dvd player and my PS. Everything works fine. Plenty of inputs for everything. The picture is bright and vivid. I dont use the speaker at all since I already have a set of Bose hooked up.Anyway the price is so low and the quality is great. You are getting your best value with this 1080p HDTV.

Hello EverybodybrbrI got this TV 46RV530U 2 weeks ago i notice a lot of heat generated from the TV just by standing infront of the TV about a feet distance.brDo any body as the same problem. I am considering to return if its not the usual problem as i dontwant my family members to get strained eyes.brbrDoesnt have subtitle features as i was expecting minimum this feature. but picture quality is good especially HD channels.

TERRIBLE
Purchased this TV 2 weeks ago and returned it last night.... we previously owned a LG which took a hard fall and broke panel and board so we went and purchased this Toshiba...... was absolutely NO COMPARISON to that LG... this Toshiba had bland color and yes we do have the HD hookups and cable sound was low... overall extremely unhappy with this purchase... went back lastnight and purchased a brand new LG instead!

Pros: This is just a great TV for the $. I looked around,Newegg was the cheapest, and thier service is unmatched. Free Shipping on this product. I ordered on a Saturday and was waiting at my house on Tuesday.
