Perfecet for Harold Lloyd fans
A number of reviews of this TV focus on the lack of audio volume. I ordered the TV assuming that these people were simply fussy. In fact, they are spot-on. The TV is awfully quiet. That said, it's still lightweight, has a good picture, etc. So if you're willing to hook up external speakers, or watch silent movies (or if you live alone) - go for it!

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I'm completely satisfied with my purchase. I have this TV/DVD mounted to a wall in the cuddy of my boat. I read many reviews that complained about the audio but I have no complaints. The sound and picture are great. The only thing I could live with out is the Toshiba logo that lights up when the TV or DVD is turned on!

Bang for the buck
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Don't believe what you read. This was a set purchased for use in a bedroom. The sound quality I've experienced is excellent, more than adequate in volume. Have found no need for any additional speakers even with the ceiling fan on high speed. Picture quality for the size is wonderful and improves when DVD's are utilized. High Quality For My Uses
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) It's the only TV in my small apartment - a larger screen would overwhelm both room size and wall hangings. Don't let the low pixel count scare you off; AT THESE DIMENSIONS picture quality is high. Sound quality is good for voice. As for music. it's hardly in a minor league team for my table-top BOSE.

Enjoying my new flat screen
The new flat screen is a trim addition to my TV viewing experience. Good picture quality and less space taken up on the cabinet top. Have not tried the DVD player yet but it appears to be a great way to have a 2 in 1 experience.
