6mo into ownership, I'd buy it again
I purchased the Samsung LN52A850 in Feb09 to replace a Sony WEGA 30" HD tube. I spent a lot of time researching various TVs, primarily focused on Sony, but hadn't considered a Samsung until I started making trips to stores to see them in action. It didn't take long to cross the Sony systems off my list of choices as their picture quality pales in comparison to the masses. Amazing picture, great TV
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) The picture quality on this TV is absolutely amazing. I use this in a well-lit room with lots of windows and I have no problems with glare or the picture being hard to watch. The viewing angle makes this TV viewable from every spot in the room. Setup and configuration was very easy and customizeable, and there were plenty of inputs on the back to accomodate all of my devices.

Outstanding TV, until the vertical black line appeared
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) The picture and features of this TV are tremendous. Samsung LN52A850 LCD TV
Tv was purchased for my parents and they are not technically up to speed, so they were just really happy with the overall picture quality. They have DISH network and there is some interference with the remotes.. For some reason after turning on the TV, the DISH remote will not operate.. I.E. Change channel, etc... It only last for like 30-45 seconds though... Strange...
