Amazing picture with tons of options for tweaking

An excellent LCD HDTV at any price!
I recently purchased this item locally but am so impressed by the TV that I felt I should post my impression for others trying to decide where to spend their hard earned money, especially these days.

Awesome LCD TV for the price
This TV is another example of excellent quality from Samsung, and the reason they stay #1 in flatscreens. Personally, I love the 120hz feature on any TV, my Sony SXRD has it as well, and adds a 3D effect to hi def content not possible in the theater. DO NOT listen to the harpies mad about some shipping snafu or buyer's remorse. You can't go wrong with Samsung, and I will definitely buy from them again.

Huge design error!!!
Overall I'm happy with this TV, sound and picture are excellent. Only thing that really sucks is that you can't see the "on TV controls". Thats just a really dumb design error. When I unpacked the TV it took me 15 minutes just to find the "on " button. And that was after finding it on the instruction book!! I notice only one other person mentions that in his review. If you always use the remote its not an issue , however I bet a lot of owners don't even know there are actually control buttons on...

Samsung LN40B630 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color
The Samsung LN40B630 DOES/DOES NOT exist!
Try going into Samsung's download center for updates. There is a LN40B610 OR 640 but NO 630.
I hooked up my Sony Blu-Ray player [aka PS3 aka Super Linux computer] & got the message:
'Playback of BDs are prohibited on this system.

SAMSUNG - LEMON TV and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
I would give this TV and Samsung 0 stars if I could. This TV didn't make it past the 5-month point. It's 2 weeks and counting to have it repaired. Samsung has lost any future business with me.

not impressed for the price
the picture quality is not good, very grainy and dark , when I watch sport the refresh rate not good , the hd picture its nice but my new plasma way better ,the 120hz refresh rate its weird , I don`t play games or for computer use , I went for a plasma TC-P42G10 way better , very impressed , great picture , great for watching sports and movies on hd ,
