Absolutely Positively Recommend
Samsung makes the BEST LCD TVs and this one is just another perfect example. Loved it the moment I got it home and hooked it up and once I got an HDTV feed for it ... well it just looks absolutely amazing. I kinda bought this one on a whim when I sawit on sale for $1299 here two weeks ago and I couldnt be happier. Picture quality in HD is awsome. Blacks are very good. Standard definition is average to good. Sound quality is average. However I didnt buy this TV for its speakers. The features are very good including improved menu response from previous models.The remote control has a backlight for night use and it is now shiny black like the television border. Awesome Picture Quality, especially for a bright room
I spent many hours researching a plethora of LCD HD televisions. I ended up selecting this one after finding it for $1100. First I was searching for a screen that was NOT glossy. I looked at a few Sonys and some higher end Samsungs but they had a glossy screen. I also wanted full 1080p. Great TV For A Great Price
This TV is a great TV for anyone buying their first HDTV. The picture is very crisp and clear on HD channels. Digital channels look pretty good but not anywhere near HD and analog channels look somewhat pixelated. My XBOX360 looks great on the TV as does my upconverting DVD player. Pros: Where should I begin? The picture is absolutely amazing. The blacks are BLACK, without even playing with enhancements. Connection was a piece of cake. I downgraded to this product and love it
Theres really only one thing you need to look at when it comes to HDTV flat screens and that is the response time. Make sure you find a tv with a response time 5 ms. I recently bought the Samsung with the 120 hz but with an 8 ms response time and it was extremely blurry and formed color blocks around action scenes. I downgraded to this tv after talking to someone at a specialty video place who said that HDTV flat screens come down to response time and that is where the true motion quality comes...

Impressive!
I bought this unit here for $1299 and have used it for about 2 weeks. Its amazing. The picture is like looking through a window the connections were easy as cake theres no glare colours are very vivid and though Samsung used to be the Yugo of models they now are among the best LCD HDs out there. I highly recommend.

Great TV. Questionable delivery.
I've had this TV for about 4 weeks now. I'm using it with an HD cable DVR and a Blu-Ray player. We also use it with our Play Station 2. The picture has been great from all sources. The sound quality is excellent.
