The Grand Tv
I went searching for a HDTV, it had to be 1080p and it had to be 42 inches and over.
I orginally purchased a Vizio which was a great 42 Inch for 200$ less than this tv. I then happened to go back to that same store and I took a look at the Phillips 42 Inch, this tv had atlest 10 extra features other tv's didnt have and it also just happened to be a better brand and to look better

Great TV - Found Remote Code That Works
This television's picture is crisp and bright, and the sound is clear. Against the competition currently out there, I'd say this a great buy for your money.
For anyone experiencing problems programming their cable remote to work with this television, try placing a 1 before code 0054, meaning you should enter "10054". After extensive searching, this was the only code that actually worked.

I bought cheap but was very impressed!
I did not buy this TV because I read reviews or studied the features. I bought it because Target had it on sale mid-June 2009 for around $750, when the only thing you can touch for that price is a Visio. I really wanted the VGA port feature (which this does not have), but couldn't find a TV equipped with one for under $1000. Just an all around great tv!
I purchased my tv about four weeks ago and love it! I had no troubles setting it up and customizing it. The picture is far better than I had anticipated and the sound is pretty good. Of course, when I run it through my surround sound system it's like sitting at the movies. I love this tv!! I only paid $750 for it making it one of the best buys of my life. If you want to enjoy an excellent television that is simple to use, this is it!!

Pros: Excellent picture.
Easy to setup.
Phenomenal Price!
Decent built-in speakers (tough to beat for price).
Lots of ports with easy access.
Nice Remote.
Surprisingly lighter in weight than what I expected.
Cons: No VGA in.

Great Product
Got a great value at Walmart with this product. Easy to set up. Works wonderful with HD Cable Box from Cable Company. Really good picture, great contrast. Good sound but will add surround sound later to improve.
You cant hardly beat this deal at the price for the product you get. I researched over 100 HD TV's and this was the best I could find! You have to have a good HD Box and cable provider to get the best out of it.
Buy it, it's great.

Great value for a good tv
Great picture quality I use it with my xbox360 at 1080p great for games and movies I watch a ton of hd on this and it look really good the sound is good better than I expected after reading the reviews I also have a 5.1 surround but never really use it now.

Good Save
It has a pretty good picture even with regular cable. The sound is even fair. It is a hundred times better then my last TV. I wish it had auto-adjust for wide screen feature but great picture with a little adjusting.
