About two hours ago, I connected my new Acer 233H monitor to my iMac computer, and I am very impressed. I calibrated the monitor using the color option in the Display pane of the System preferences of my iMac to get the contrast just right. I have found no dead pixels on this monitor, which makes me very happy. On the Acer menu, I left the monitor on warm (the cold setting looks too blue for me). Pros: High Contrast. 1920x1080p. DVI and HDMI.
Cons: Lasted about an hour before a purple vertical line appeared and wouldn't go away. after spending 30 minutes online trying to find the number to acer, they told me it would be 2 weeks to get it fixed. Newegg issued RMA rightaway. Ships out tomorrow for exchange.

Cons: Dead Pixel right in the middle of the screen. Acer customer service will not replace this monitor. They want me to pay to ship it to them and wait 2 weeks for it to be repaired.
Other Thoughts: Should've known it was too good too be true.
