Couldn't Be Happier
Love the mics. The only (very) slight issue (easy to overcome) is that you need to put a hole in you kick drum for the kick mic, otherwise, the sound is muffled. Great performance for the price.

Great Value
A good product at a great price. Our sound man had no trouble with these units. We routed through their own mixer and sent the pre-mixed output to a master unit. That gives us lots of control over the sound of the kit. In smaller venues we only use the snare and kick mics wired directly to the master board. But it's nice to have the option for all 7 mics. We use one cymbal mic for the high hat and crash. Every other piece in my kit has its own mic, which is a great way to keep the mix clean. We ...

CHEAP MICS GOOD EARS GREAT SOUND
FOR THE PRICE, IT DOESN'T MATTER ABOUT OTHER NAME BRANDS. THE WAY YOU GET GRAET SOUND OUT OF THESE MICS IS HAVING A GREAT EAR SO YOU CAN ACHEIVE THE SOUND YOU WANT. THINK ABOUT IT...IN ANY GIVEN GREAT PRODUCED SONG CAN YOU REALLY DETERMINE EACH NAME BRAND OF MIC THAT YOU HEAR COMING FROM THE DRUM SET? I DIDN'T THINK SO. GET THESE MICS AND JUST RECORD DRY. LET SOMEONE WITH DIFFERENT EARS DO THE FINAL MIX AND YOU WILL BE STARTLED.

Cheap but great
You might hear that they are cheap! So what! I bought them because they were cheap and I needed drum mics. I can't live without them. They are so great! I even use the condensers for miking guitar. Great mics no matter what anyone says.

Best drum mics for the $
These mics for the money are awsome....The overheads pick up your cymbals excellent....if they are to hot flip the two switches on them to cut down on the sensativity.
The tom,snare and bass drum mics sound sweet in a live setting.
I have not recorded with this mic pac,,,but read reviews saying they sound great.
the mounts for these mics work great with flanged drum hoops...my snare has a cast hoop and the clamp still works with it,but you can tell these clamps are intended for fl...
