Watch the Wireless!!!
Beware that your Keyboard and Mice may not work if they are wireless (see issue 2)!!!!
This is a decent KVM. The switching time for me is about 3-5 secs which isn't so bad. Also, the price is significantly lower than anything else.
I have 2 issues, though.
1) The cables are a nightmare. As other folks have pointed out, they come out from all sides, so if you have more than 2 computers, it is sort of monster to keep on your desk.

Adequate and inexpensive, but has some problems
My old Belkin KVM would not drive my newer monitor (1920 x 1080 resolution). So I bought the 4-port version of this KVM. Low price was a big part of my decision to buy this particular KVM.
Pros:
- It works fine with my higher resolution monitor. Clear video (and audio).
- It is inexpensive
Cons:
- Hot-key switching does not work on my unit. The idea is to press ctrl-ctrl in a two-second window to cycle through machines. This works only when I am...

Won't work with laptops
The cables will not work with laptops, at least any standard size laptop. The distance between the monitor port and USB port is too great to be connected if the two are on opposite sides of the laptop.
Customer service for Trendnet decided that the only fix was to return the product.

Simply great
I am using this on my new Dell, old Dell, Linux and my G4 Apple and the TK-409 has simply made my life so much easier because I need all 4 computers frequently. It didn't first work for my old Dell and my Linux box but that's because a USB keyboard and mouse was never connected to those boxes, so they expected a PS/2 key/mouse, these are old machines. I plugged in the USB keyboard and mouse and booted the machines (one at a time) so they can recognize and install the USB driver for the keyboard...
