Pros:
Price. I like the GUI. Easy calibration. Powerful, clear, solid and great sound thru my Energy Take Classic system. Great sound improvement over my 6-year old Yamaha receiver.
Cons:
HDMI output not that great. When I hooked up DVD and FIOS through the receiver, the reception looked grainy and transition was slow. Picture quality looks better when hooking directly from source to TV....

Bi amp capability, teams up with other equipment especially the remote, rather easily. Easy set up. Sounds OK, better than old set up and powers Polk's OK.

Not a 7.2, not mind blowing, cannot set to all channel ( utilizing rears for a multiple front music during a bi amp set up - can fake it a little by turning up rear ...

Great features with lots of connectivity.
Cons:
Stopped upconverting component to HDMI after 2 weeks and had very loud clicking noise that seemed random.
Other Thoughts:
After some research on the web, I discovered that the clicking is somewhat common with sony receivers and is usually due to bad soldering job...

I was up and enjoying in 20 minutes.
Good clear sound and makes you think someone else is in room it keeps you looking over your shoulder.
