Simple is best.
When it comes to quality sound, simple is best. This solid-built machine delivers clear and vivid sound for a two channel stereo system with or without a subwoofer. I would recommend it to music lovers who don't want to pay hundreds for a receiver. From Satisfied to Disappointed in a Heartbeat
This is a basic model which served me well for a couples years of very moderate use and no abuse. Today, when I turned it on, however, it automatically goes to standby (which is essentially "off") after a few seconds. I can hear a click after a few seconds just as it goes to standby. Excellent product, great sound, long lasting.
I got this as a gift when I was 14 or so and now I'm going on 20. Still works as good as it did the day I got it. The remote doesn't work but that is my fault. If anyone knows where to get a remote let me know. [Read 's Complete Review for Sherwood 105 Watts per Channel x2, Tuner, Home Theater Stereo Receiver (RX4103) at Amazon.com]

Fine simple receiver, clean power
I've had this unit for several years and use this as a homemade "second zone" receiver to power my patio speakers. The only input is from the "tape out" RCA jacks from a pioneer that powers an indoor theater set-up. It can certainly do more, but it was cheap alternative for simple power amplification. I have a large backyard, and I never have this higher than half-volume with plenty of clean power. The radio tuner is decent too. Quite a bargain.
I needed I stereo reciever for my garage. Nothing too fancy or expensive. This fit the bill. I would not have this as my primary unit in my home, as it's 'bare bones". But it's just what I was looking for. Works well, sounds fine, great price. [Read 's Complete Review for Sherwood 105 Watts per Channel x2, Tuner, Home Theater Stereo Receiver (RX4103) at Amazon.com]
